After takeover of Singaporean competitor: Unifeeder open to more acquisitions

The acquisition of a Singapore-based feeder shipping line will likely not be Unifeeder's last, after the company close to a year ago was purchased by DP World. Two parameters in particular are decisive when Unifeeder looks at acquisitions, says CEO in an interview with ShippingWatch.

Unifeeder recently bought a majority stake in Singapore-based competitor Feedertech Group, but the Danish shipping company is open to more acquisitions, says Unifeeder CEO Jesper Kristensen in an interview with ShippingWatch.

"Does it end with this acquisition? I don't think so. There are small and medium-large shortsea and feeder operators around the world in different markets, where we're seeing that the model we represent could help create consolidation and add value," he says.
