Maersk's Thygesen sees many preconceptions about the company

In an interview with Danish media Berlingske, the newest member of Maersk's senior management, Henriette Thygesen, says there are "many preconceptions about Maersk" and that the company's culture has changed a lot, with more focus on diversity.

There are "many preconceptions" about Maersk, where much has happened in recent years in terms of diversity and equality, says Henriette Thygesen, newest member of the company's top management, in an interview with Danish media Berlingske.

Aside from heading Maersk-owned towage company Svitzer, Thygesen will be chief executive of the parent company's business unit Towage, Manufacturing & Others as of Jan. 1.
