Svitzer CEO joins group management in reshuffle

Henriette Thygesen, chief executive of tugboat company Svitzer, joins the Maersk Executive Board as part of top leadership reshuffle. Vincent Clerc named head of the key Ocean business.

Svitzer CEO Henriette Thygesen will join the Maersk Executive Board at the turn of the year, says Maersk in a statement.

She will become a part of the group's executive board on Jan. 1, 2020, and will become chief executive of Maersk's Towage, Manufacturing & Others business unit. She currently heads Maersk-owned tugboat company Svitzer, part of the group's towage business.
