CCO resigns from Hamburg Süd

Frank Smet steps down as CCO of Maersk-owned container line Hamburg Süd and retires. Management colleague takes over his responsibilities.

Hamburg Süd's Chief Commercial Officer Frank Smet retires after about 27 years with the German container line, which is owned by A.P. Møller-Mærsk today.

Smet has been part of the company's senior management since 2012, and along the way he partook in the acquisition and integration processes of Hamburg Süd. Specifically, he will have his last day at work in late March, according to a statement by the liner company.
