Number of canceled container sailings tripled in few days

In only a few days, canceled sailings on major container routes have tripled, according to a report by Sea-Intelligence Consulting. MSC now offers customers drop-offs of containers in six selected hubs.

The container industry has now canceled as much as 120 departures on major container routes, the so-called deep-sea services, according to a report by Sea-Intelligence Consulting.

At least, that is the number Wednesday afternoon CET, which marks a rough tripling of the figure two days ago, when it came to 45.
