Container shipowners stick with scrubbers despite oil price plunge

The dramatic slide in the oil price has generally not deterred container shipping lines from pursuing scrubbers, reports Alphaliner, even though some are reconsidering the strategy.

The oil price plunge in recent months, where the North Sea oil is currently trading at USD 17 per barrel, has not put an end to the container carriers' installation of scrubbers, writes Alphaliner.
