Maersk hires new head of Asia Pacific from DB Schenker

A.P. Møller-Maersk appoints a new regional managing director of Asia Pacific, who comes from logistics company DB Schenker. He replaces the current regional managing director, who will take over Maersk's office in Latin America.

Maersk looked to logistics company DB Schenker when searching for its new regional managing director of Asia Pacific.

Here, the global transport major found Ditlev Blicher, who will start in his new position on Sept. 1.
