Maersk, Cargill and MAN invest big-time in center for CO2-neutral shipping

Shipping industry majors such as Maersk, Cargill, NYK Line and MAN support new test center aimed at finding solutions to make shipping CO2-neutral. Maersk CEO Søren Skou will be on the center's board of directors.

Denmark – specifically Copenhagen – will be home to a new team of researchers tasked with finding solutions to make shipping more CO2-neutral.

Around 100 researchers will over the next two to three years be employed at the center, which is backed by industry majors such as Maersk, ABS, Cargill, MAN Energy Solutions, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, NYK Lines and Siemens Energy.
