Freight rates on Asia-Europe climb to highest level since 2014

The container freight rates on routes from Asia to Europe increased 24 percent in the past week and are now at the highest level since 2014.

Container freight rates from China to the rest of the world continue to soar for the ninth consecutive week, shows the Shanghai Containerized Freight Index, SCFI.
