Ever Given set to leave Suez soon following settlement

A settlement between the owners of Ever Given and the Suez Canal Authority has been reached and the ship will be allowed to leave the canal on Wednesday this week, the canal authority confirms.

A settlement has been reached between the owners of container vessel Ever Given and the Suez Canal Authority, SCA.

As a result, the vessel, which has been detained in the canal since causing a major traffic jam in March, can now be released, representatives of the owners inform Sunday.
