The boom in the market where carriers are still craving available tonnage, equipment and containers has had a positive impact on the quarterly results at German shipowner MPC Container Ships.

MPC Container Ships saw growth in both revenue and operating earnings, prompting the shipowner to upgrade the full-year guidance after being in dire straits financially last year.
