MSC aims for climate neutrality by 2050

Like competitors Maersk and CMA CGM, MSC is pursuing a strategy of achieving net zero CO2 emissions in 2050. Fuels such as LNG, methanol and ammonia are all potential candidates, while the carrier expects to increase the use of biofuels in coming years. Updated.

MSC is joining the choir of container carriers pursuing a stated goal of climate neutrality in 2050.

This was one of the tidings announced by CEO Søren Toft when he spoke during London International Shipping Week on Wednesday this week.
