Container rates shake off last week's decline

The SCFI index is on the rise, shaking off last week's small drop after setting a record for the previous 20 weeks in a row.

The spot rates for container freight went up this week following a small decline last week, according to the Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI), which records spot rates for container freight from Shanghai to a number of destinations around the world.
