Snabe's legacy: The digital reformer steps down with Maersk's share peaking

Whereas his predecessor Michael Pram Rasmussen went up against the conglomerate, Jim Hagemann Snabe saw it as his task to digitalize the traditional Maersk company when he took over as chair in 2017. Has the mission succeeded? That is too soon to tell, says analyst, but Maersk has never earned as much as they do now.

Publicly, Jim Hagemann Snabe may not have drawn much attention in his time as chairman of the board of directors at Maersk, but it’s difficult to draw any other conclusion than that the company has been doing well during his reign.
