
Seaspan, the world’s largest container tonnage provider, now has a fleet with capacity nearing 2 million teu when including the vessels ordered by the company, according to the financial report of parent group Atlas.
At the end of March, Seaspan had an operational fleet of 132 container ships with a combined capacity of 1,147,980 teu. Beyond these, 67 vessels are under construction, which will bring the combined capacity to 1,959,380 teu.
