
Maersk is rumored to be planning an order for 12 container ships with a capacity of 16,000 teu each, which will sail on methanol, writes media TradeWinds.
Maersk already has 12 container vessels of equal size under construction, but is reportedly keen on doubling the order for container vessels equipped with dual fuel engines, which would make them capable of sailing on both methanol and oil.
