Zim and Shell strike deal on billion-dollar LNG bunkering

Ten new container ships from carrier Zim will bunker LNG from Shell for ten years, according to an agreement between the companies.

Israeli container line Zim has struck a deal with oil company Shell, which for a ten-year period will supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) to ten new container vessels expected operational in 2023 and 2024, according to a statement.
