Carriers expected to increase blank sailings following Golden Week

In a market characterized by falling demand and freight rates, container lines are expected to pull more capacity from the market in connection with China’s Golden Week, according to Sea-Intelligence. The number of blank sailings could grow higher than during the five years prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.
