Container volumes decline in Port of Los Angeles

Freight volumes in the Port of Los Angeles decreased in September by 21.5 percent compared to the record level of the same month last year. Measured on the year’s first nine months, volumes have also declined in the major US port.

Goods for the US Christmas trade is already piled up at inventories, and container volumes in the major west-coast port in Los Angeles therefore declined during September, says the port management.
