Maersk lands record result in Q3 – maintains full-year expectations

In Q3, the container and logistics giant’s revenue increased by 37 percent and the operating result by 60 percent compared to the same quarter last year. Despite waning demand, full-year expectations are maintained.

Maersk is really beginning to feel the decreasing global demand for container freight, and the future market situation therefore appears gloomier in spite of the container and logistics major having presented a record result for the third quarter.
