Hapag-Lloyd to keep investing in ports despite bleak market outlook

Following record results in the first three quarters of the year, Hapag-Lloyd expects the market to normalize and rates to decline, although the German carrier stresses the continuation of its expansion in port activities.

German container shipping company Hapag-Lloyd saw a record result for the first nine months of 2022 but predicts the container market will be greatly weakened in the time to come.
