Maersk settles with Hope Hicks in harassment case

The Danish shipping giant has entered into a settlement in a case regarding the alleged sexual harassment of Hope Hicks and another woman onboard one of its ships. The carrier was sued in the US.

Maersk’s US subsidiary, Maersk Line Limited (MLL), has entered into a settlement with former ship cadet Hope Hicks, who had alleged that a serious sexual assault took place on board of a Maersk vessel in 2019, the container carrier confirms to ShippingWatch in a mail.
