Struggling food producers put pressure on reefer market

It’s difficult for fruit growers to profit due to high prices on energy, transportation, and fertilizers. This then affects the transport of reefers, Maersk explains.

Fruit growers and other food producers are financially strained to such an extent that carriers are beginning to feel the affect of the pressured food manufacturing in terms of decrease in shipments of reefers.
