Ikea hires Hapag-Lloyd for green freight on key trade

Ikea has chosen the German container line to provide biofuel-based shipping services on its cargo sent from Asia.

Hapag-Lloyd and the retail chain’s logistics unit Ikea Supply Chain Operations have signed an agreement to reduce emissions from container shipments of Ikea products from Asia, the German container shipping company writes in a press release.
