Maersk settles with fired chief engineer in Hope Hicks case

The company ends a case in which a chief engineer who was fired in connection with the assault on Hope Hicks had demanded USD 300,000 in compensation.

Maersk has reached a settlement with a former chief engineer who sued Maersk’s US subsidiary last spring demanding compensation for a ”wrongful” firing, according to a document filed with the US district court in New York.
