2015 will bring lower freight rates for Maersk Line, which in the 3rd quarter raised its full-year guidance to an underlying result of more than USD 2 billion, predicts Drewry in a new analysis of the Maersk Group's combined 3rd quarter result - a result that generally surpassed expectations.
For the coming and final quarter, the analyst agency expects that Maersk Line will increase its underlying profit by 45-50 percent. But this growth rate will not continue into 2015, says Drewry:
