Drewry: Slower growth for Maersk Line in 2015

Maersk Line's growth momentum this year, with an expected full-year profit of USD 2 billion, will not continue into 2015, says Drewry, pointing to increasing uncertainty and pressure on freight rates ahead.

2015 will bring lower freight rates for Maersk Line, which in the 3rd quarter raised its full-year guidance to an underlying result of more than USD 2 billion, predicts Drewry in a new analysis of the Maersk Group's combined 3rd quarter result - a result that generally surpassed expectations.
