Nordic Shipholding suffered USD 4.6 million deficit

Nordic Shipholding lost USD 4.6 million before taxes in the first nine months of the year. An improved result compared to the same period last year, says the carrier. The board maintains 2014 full-year expectations.

Nordic Shipholding suffered a USD 4.6 million pre-tax deficit in the first nine months of the year, according to the carrier's interim report, published Wednesday. This represents an improvement compared to the same period last year, where the carrier lost USD 6.3 million - a development primarily attributed to reduced interest costs, at USD 2.6 million, according to the carrier.
