Morgan Stanley: Alliances will not affect prices

The four container alliances that basically make up the current container market will not have an effect on prices. There are still too many carriers to set a fixed a price, according to Doug Hayes of Morgan Stanley.

The now firmly established four alliances on the container market will not have on impact of their own accord on raising prices, and thus creating a better economy for the carriers, according to vice president Doug Hayes of Morgan Stanley in London.
