Maersk Line appoints new CFO

Maersk Line has appointed Pierre Danet of Hewlett Packard as new CFO.

Maersk Line has hired a new CFO to replace its current Chief Financial Executive Jakob Stausholm (photo), whose new title will Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer going forward.

The new CFO will be French Pierre Danet, 44 years old, who will switch from a position as Vice President and Regional CFO of Hewlett Packard. Pierre Danet will also join the Maersk Line executive management team, says the carrier in a statement Friday.
