CSAV provides new CFO for Hapag-Lloyd

Hapag-Lloyd receive its new CFO from CSAV as part of the agreement for the takeover of the Chilean container carrier, according to an announcemnet from the German carrier. Hapag-Lloyd´s CFO, 47-year old Peter Ganz, is stepping down to make room for CSAV's CFO Nicolas Burr.

With the merger, CSAV is now the largest major shareholder in Hapag-Lloyd and as part of the deal, the Chilean carrier has had the right to appoint the future CFO.

The 39-year old Chilean, Nicolas Burr has held the position of CFO at CSAV from 2012 to 2015, based in Santiago de Chile.
