
With the release of the annual report from the world's third-largest container carrier CMA CGM, the outlines of a top and bottom are becoming clear in regards to the ability to create financial results in the international container industry.
The large French carrier achieved a positive result last year of USD 584 million, which was an improvement of 43 percent compared to 2013. Revenue in the family-controlled carrier with headquarters in Marseilles, also grew slightly and came to USD 16.7 billion, which was an increase of 5.3 percent.
