Alphaliner: Several factors complicate NOL sale

Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) recently confirmed that the carrier is talking to Maersk Line as well as CMA CGM in relation to a potential sale of its container carrier unit APL. But even though there are several interested buyers in the market, there are still significant obstacles on the way toward a possible sale, notes analyst agency Alphaliner in its latest newsletter.
