Cosco appoints new head of container

China Cosco Shipping Group, which was created in December through a merger of two of China's largest state-owned shipping companies, has now found a new head of its container business, writes Splash24/7.

The group has appointed the 43 year old Wang Haimin, who has a professional background at many companies in the Cosco conglomerate from before the merger with China Shipping Container Lines, including as the vice general manager of Cosco Holdings, Cosco Pacific and as the vice managing director of Cosco Container Lines.
