Media: New container alliance courts Iranian carrier

According to sources in the Chinese shipping industry, the newly created China Cosco Shipping along with CMA CGM are hoping to form a new alliance, which includes players such as Iranian IRISL, writes Journal of Commerce.

Rumors are flying about a possible new constellation in the container industry, which could break up the alliances as we know them. This concerns the cooperation between the recently merged China Cosco Shipping and CMA CGM as the focal point.
