UASC gains support for merger with Hapag-Lloyd

Shareholders in container carrier United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) support a potential merger with Germany's Hapag-Lloyd. However, a formal vote has yet to be held regarding the merger, stresses the carrier, which is still in negotiations with the German company.
