Last week Maersk Line and MSC's container alliance 2M announced changes to the partnership's Asia-North Europe network. Even though the changes seem small and the big picture is generally the same, the rerouting of the large network can be seen as a response to the challenge that emerged a few weeks ago with the presentation of the new container competitor The Alliance.
