Samsung enraged by stranded Hanjin vessels

While Hanjin's biggest shareholder has postponed a decision for financial support, stakeholders such as Samsung are enraged that Hanjin vessel's with precious cargoes are still drifting around off US ports in spite of a US court having agreed to provide receivership.

All the while a rehabilitation of collapsed container carrier Hanjin seems to be drawing out, desperation is rising among the numerous shippers with goods loaded onto Hanjin's vessels for more than USD 14 billion in total.

In spite of the US bankruptcy court in Newark, New Jersey, earlier this week decided to temporary grant Hanjin's request to protect its ships against being arrested in US ports, the ships are still drifting around at sea.
