APL grows 10 percent in first quarter with CMA CGM

Singapore-based carrier APL has improved its performance after being acquired by CMA CGM. Freight volumes in the third quarter of the year grew 9.9 percent, aided by more than 20 partnership agreements with CMA CGM.

The third quarter this year is the first quarter for Singapore-based APL with French CMA CGM as new owner. The new ownership has a visible effect on APL's figures, according to a press release from CMA CGM.
