Hapag-Lloyd executes its UASC redundancy plan

With the start of the new year, Germany's Hapag-Lloyd has initiated the process to streamline United Arab Shipping Company, UASC, reduce the number of jobs, and in effect reap the financial benefits of the merger with the Arabic container carrier.
