Hanjin Shipping finally declared bankrupt

This Friday the court in Seoul declared Hanjin Shipping bankrupt after the carrier has spent months under court receivership and on being wound down.

The Seoul Central District Court declared Hanjin Shipping bankrupt Friday. The South Korean shipping group was the world's seventh largest container carrier when it filed for receivership in 2016 in a move that sent shock waves throughout the industry.
