Asia-Europe rates at most stable level in five years

Rates between Asia and Europe have for the past eight weeks hovered at the most stable level for the benchmark container routes in five years, writes analyst Lars Jensen of Seaintelligence Consulting.

The rate war between the major container carriers has been called off – at least when looking at the scenario seen in the past eight weeks and the rates on the benchmark routes between Asia and Europe.
