Only one of Japan's three top carriers upgrades guidance

Japan's three biggest carriers, Mitsui OSK, Kawasaki Kiesen, and Nippon Yusen, have published interim reports for the first quarter. The results fall in line with the trend from the carriers' numbers for the full-year 2016.

The three biggest Japanese carriers, Mitsui OSK Line (MOL), Kawasaki Kiesen, and Nippon Yusen, have published their interim reports for the first quarter, all showing results that fall in line with the trend seen in their annual reports for 2016.
