2M alliance struggling to improve schedule reliability

Even though the new alliances have generally delivered significantly better schedule reliability in recent months, the world's biggest alliance, between Maersk Line and MSC, has been pushed down at second place among the three mega-alliances, shows a new analysis.

For shippers, it comes as good news that the new container alliances have been significantly better at following their sailing schedules, and that the massive delays seen ahead of April this year, when two new alliances were created, seem to be over.
