Clarksons: Turning point ahead for tanker after slow end to 2017

The turning point could be on its way for supertankers in 2018, even though the end of last year saw a weak market with vastly reduced earnings, writes Clarksons Platou in a new analysis.

There could be better times ahead for the crude oil carriers, including Frontline, Euronav and DHT Holdings, as a turning point in the market is visible on the horizon, despite 2017 ending on a weak note, writes Clarksons Platou, which in a new analysis projects that crude oil will hit a turning point around halfway through 2018.
