Trade war dissolves demand for natural gas cargo from US to China

Over the past few months, the number of vessels sailing from the US to China with liquid natural gas (LNG) cargo has declined significantly.

Impacts of the escalating trade war between China and the US over the past months can now be felt in the number of cargoes with the liquid natural gas LNG between the two countries. According to Reuters, China has received 14 percent of LNG exports from the US, but this figure has fallen dramatically over the past few months.
