Torm's deficit grew considerably in historically weak market

Torm's deficit before taxes grew big-time in the third quarter of the year to USD 24.5 million. "The product tanker market reached historically low levels," says Executive Director Jacob Meldgaard in the interim report.

The product tanker market dipped to record-low levels in the third quarter of the year, and Torm's result before taxes dropped to a large deficit of USD 24.5 million from a loss of USD 3.9 million in the same period last year, shows the interim report, published Thursday.
