Celsius buys two more LNG ships in massive order

Celsius has exercised an option at South Korean yard Samsung Heavy Industries for another two large LNG ships. The order is worth USD 375 million. According to Reuters, Qatar plans to order a fleet of 60 newbuild LNG ships.

Celsius Tankers has now ordered another two LNG ships from South Korean shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries.

Less than six months have passed since Celsius Tankers made its largest and first investment in the major gas ships, and the investment firm is now exercising an option from the order originally placed in August last year.
