Ardmore's deficit grew in the third quarter

Ardmore continues to lose money on its bottom line, which in the third quarter grew to a deficit of USD 5.7 million from USD 3.4 million in the second quarter.

The third quarter brought the biggest loss so far in 2019 for product tanker operator Ardmore, shows the company's latest interim report.

Ardmore lost USD 5.7 million in the third quarter, compared to a loss of USD 3.4 million and USD 2.6 million in the second and first quarters of the year.

3i buys AMP out of Esvagt

Private equity firm 3i, which owns half of carrier Esvagt, has agreed with the company's second owner, AMP Capital, to take over all of Esvagt for GBP 268 million, making 3i the sole owner. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
