Indian refineries secure oil on contract – Russian embargo to create shortage

Indian state refiners have begun securing oil on contract from providers other than Russia as they fear a shortage once the EU’s embargo on Russian oil comes into force.

Major state-owned Indian oil refineries now pursue oil on contract rather than buying cheap Russian oil on the spot market, Reuters reports.
