Saverys wants to fast-forward talks of Euronav's future

At a future shareholder’s meeting, Alexander Saverys, major Euronav shareholder via CMB, expects to bring in representatives to the tanker carrier’s supervisory board and then quickly embark on strategic discussions.

In five weeks’ time, controversial Belgian tanker carrier Euronav is outfitted with a new board of directors, and then a new discussion into the carrier’s future strategy can ensue, said CMB CEO and Euronav major shareholder Alexander Saverys on Wednesday.
